introducing two males to each other rabbits?

I have a 4 month old rabbit and I am gonna try to introduce it to another rabbit that is 3 months old.

my current rabbit is very nice and seems accepting of any animal. he was very accepting of my cat, and tried to play with her but she got scared and hid from him while he tried to lick her or sniff or play with her.

my current rabbit is a dwarf hotot/dutch mix and a runt, and very not rabbit like in the way he acts.

I am thinking of getting a Netherlands dwarf who is 3 months old, male, and from what the breeder said is very nice tame and gets held and played with a lot.

what am I to expect from introducing them, I am getting a completely brand new towel and dog crate that is large enough for both of them, the only things that would be the same is the food container, water and litter box.

will this help them adjust?

my current rabbit is very loving and kind, the first thing he dose is shower you in kisses when you play with him.
I'm also feeling a bit bad, cause my bf and I have this one rabbit and its like our baby, and I don't want to be replacing him, I'm trying to get him a friend, but the though of your bored with him is why your doing this keep going thru my head.

They are young enough to accept each-other as 'family'
eventually, if as you say you have reduced the 'territory' factor
to a minimum.
There may be a dominance issue sometime, maybe
not immediately.
Things should settle down as long as there are no does in evidence.
