iPhone, can't hold a candle to Nokia, or Samsung, or LG............ I mean what were they thinking, releasing a phone with only a 2mega pixel camera when everyone else has gone to 5............. And the cost, my God, Apple know how to charge, (at least in Australia, where the phone is over twice the cost of the same phone anywhere else in the world)...

Tht is true.No doubts there,mate..but the problem is that that stupid gizmo is selling more than the comparatively better products from other companies, simply because of its bling factor and the successful hype that jobs has created for his average products, thru aggressive marketing..:
Otherwise, Nokia,SE and HTC products are way better in quality and features.
Btw, one good thing that has happened after the advent of iphone in the market is that, for the first time, bigshots like Nokia and SE have been bitten by the iphone craze.They know how big a threat it is to their business.So they have no other way to attract customers,than to reduce the price of their phones, even if they happen to be better than that istone..:
So ultimately, its us, the buyers, who stand to gain.. Let that iStone sell like crazy, we will get our favorite phones at a lower price now..:

Same here.. Its been almost two yrs since i bought the SE P990, n i'm still so satisfied with its performance, that i dont see a reason why i shud dump it.. its been ever faithful n reliable.And, i seriously dont understand why there has been so much controversy over this phone.Agreed, SE goofed up big time with the firmware updates for this phone and there were many who thought that SE actually added bugs to the firmware of P990i to beta test the features for the P1..
Neways, all those rumours notwithstanding, the one i have never freezed or rebooted or gave any issues at all..
N when i can get all the work done on it,why upgrade unnecessarily? I was thinking of upgrading to an HTC windows based mobile, but seems like a waste of money right now.. It aint giving me anything new, over n above what is there on the P990.So,I guess,I'm gonna keep this phone till it dies itself.. Thanks,but, no thanks,Mr.Jobs.

I've seen iPhone and people who use it : They are on it all the time :lmao: It is addictive , they don't need a separate internet conx at home to browse.

Why ppl use iPhone here

1. google maps is used by almost everyone in US
2. gtalk not everyone uses since yahoo takes half the share
3. email - most of us
4. Calendar and tasks
5. and surfing is made easy : and pretty fast as well hyeah:

and the best of the lot, a touch interface which is damn cool

An avg guy pays around 40-50$ a month on a conx, adding a data line would be 20$ more per month and people wouldn't mind buying a device for 200$ /400$ :lmao:

iPhone is selling like hot cakes here and I am all set to get one

Who cares for comparisons, I've got what I want and it works fine if others are happy with what they have, it is good. The rest will complain :lmao:
