Here's my dilemma...I work at location "A"; booth renter (not an employee, not an IC). I make my own policies, set my own prices, hours, etc. In February I'll be openning up my own wellness studio. I always have a high volume of holiday gift certificate sales. My gift certificates have a six month expiration. (I have researched the legalities where I live, and yep, I can do it & not worry about eschaet, etc).Is it ethical for me to sell gift certificates that could possible be redeemed in either place? Am I making a mountain out of a mole hill?I have thought of a couple of plans, but none seem right. Any other ideas would be helpful, and thanks!1) I have a purchasers agreement card, so I can contact the person buying the gift (as the recipient might be a stranger) to let them know I have moved.2) I can have them expire sooner (when I leave XX Salon), with an offer to call us at our new location to receive a replacement certificate (with a longer expiration) & tour the new facility.3) I can re-do my gift certificates early & have some kind of policy stated that they are valid in any location I am at, etc.I don't want to pass on this seasonal promotion. In the past 3 years, its gone over so well & the redeem rate is high... its truly a bid for new clients.ThanksJill/sagetherapist
