...as just your name? i went to a dance with my boyfriend last night and when he introduced me to his guy friends and his girl friends i was only introduced twice, maybe, as his girlfriend. otherwise, it was "hey, this is Sam." that's it. sometimes he didnt even introduce me.. he just hugged the person and then said person walked away. i might just be over thinking things, but it seems like he's been doing that a lot lately.

He recently enlisted in the marines, and he says how he wants me to move in with him and marry him once he gets out and that he is going to propose to me before he leaves. we've lknown eachother and have been friends/gone out on and off since we were 12 and 13.

So... what's up with this weird behavior? He even seemed like he was flirting with some girls a little, but again, i may just be over thinking things.

It sounds like he is a bit shy about the relationship but it is not necessarily bad. It is obvious that he is very interested in you by what you said he wants to do upon enlisting. If you are young in your early 20's and he is enlisting... ask him to wait. The service is a big weight on a marriage and it is better to wait till he gets out and is able to live a normal married life with you. I was in the service and allot of my buddies got divorced because of the stress from not being together much. It was too hard to take.
I am sure he cares allot for you but talk to him about it and see what he says about waiting if he is enlisting. Good luck!

YES! It is very very bad. Definetely confront him about it. Tell him that his behavior makes you uncomfortable and tell him he needs to stop. If he doesn't stop aftre you tell him that, he doesn't care about you.
