We have a 6 year old male who's been around dogs and was fine, and also he was pretty quick to accept when we brought our female adult home a couple years ago. The adult female is 4 years now and has had kittens already before we adopted her, and she does get pretty skittish especially around dogs, but gets along with our male and got along with him pretty easily at the start. She isn't very playful, she tends to to get pissed when our male tries to play with her most of the time (though he's about twice her size and his idea of playing is jumping on top of her and pinning her down by the neck).
Anyway, we want to get a kitten sometime soon and we're just wondering how easy or difficult it would be to introduce a kitten to our two adult cats and any risks we should avoid during the process, or any tips anyone could give us on how to get them to enjoy each others company more.
