most he could do with it? I met this really cool guy in a chat room that I went to so I could talk about a problem freely without holding back. He helped me out and we had a great conversation! Felt like we've known each other for a while. I've never given anyone from a chat room any of my contact info. Do you think it's not okay? Should I go to Verizon and have his number blocked? What are some reasons I shouldn't?? Add any other possible helpful info!

He can 1). Go to Whitepages, 2). Do a reverse phone lookup 3). Find your address, 4). Come to your house.

Or.... he could just use it to call you. Although the latter is more likely, you should BE CAREFUL on those sites.

You'll be fine, I used to that all the time when I was like ten years old. I actually met an awesome guy in Massachusettes from a chatroom, we still talk till this day. But meeting a legit person in a chatroom is pretty rare, so watch what you do. You probably shouldn't anwser his text.
