Is it safe to get a pedicure and foot massage when my feet are covered...

...with cuts and blisters? My feet look completely grotesque thanks to running around all week in sandals while traveling abroad in this incredibly polluted, hot, humid city, and I'm embarrassed of them and want a pedicure and foot massage, but am worried that it could cause problems. I have a huge, disgusting blister the size of a quarter on the bottom of my foot, and six blisters on the top of each foot from where the sandal straps were. I think my feet got swollen or something in this heat because at home the sandals have never caused any problems. I also have a nasty looking sore on the top of my foot and I don't even know what caused it. It's just this massive red scabby looking sore. It's not practical to wear covered shoes in this weather, and I'm ashamed of how my feet look so I need to do something about them.

The problem is I don't speak the language here, and so I won't be able to ask if the pedicure will be harmful. I'll show them the blisters and cuts first, though.
