Is it safe to have a back and foot massage while pregnant?

A couple nights a week my hubby will be nice and rub my back and feet for me because they start hurting a lot from being pregnant. I just heard that a back massage can cause miscarriage and a foot massage can cause preterm labor. Are either of these true? Now I am freaking out because I usually have my hubby do both like 2-3 times a week!
 
Massages are wonderful while you are pregnant under one condition. In your first trimester you are not supposed to get lower back massages but other than that you are fine. Foot massages are great during Labor. I know back massages are the only thing that got me through the end of my last pregnancy. Hope this helps.
 
No, neither of those things are true. The only way a back massage could give you a miscarriage is if your husband punched you repeatedly in the lower back as hard as he could. Even then, it wouldn't be guaranteed.

There are even massage therapists out there that specialize in prenatal massage.
