If it makes you feel any safer there's a dentist office right where the pedestrian line forms to get back to the states. Anyone else seen it or has asked about their dental work prices?

you should be safe but if you're really concerned about safety, just taxi it straight from the border to the dentist's office and carry the exact amount of money you need for the dentist in your sock....

I say, get your teeth fixed by the dentist, afterwards, get your plumbing fixed by the hos....

You should be safe if you stay in the downtown tourist area which includes La Zona Norte, the red-light district. It is also called La Zona de tolerancia. Mostly it is just referred to as La Zona by us mongers. Usually, if you just use the term La Zona and you are a gringo, the locals, especially the taxi drivers will know exactly what you are referring to. Do some snooping about here and you will quickly learn how to get to where the action is.

Well since 2nd and Juarez are the same street, maybe you can give us a cross street. The red light district most Southern border is 1st street, so you should be close.

Looking to go to TJ to have some dental work done because here in the states the dentist really rape you(they want to charge me around $800 a crown where as in TJ its around $200 a crown)
Anyway office is located by 2nd and Juarez st. somewhere in downtown TJ
Never been to TJ and was wondering if this area would be safe to stay for a week or just come into TJ for the dental work and stay somewhere in San Diego?? Oh btw is there any ho houses around that area?
