Hi I am new to the forum,
I done a introductory reflexology course last summer which left me hungry for more!! so I started an Open Uni level 1 heath and social care course (ends september) while saving for the reflexology and anatomy and physiology courses (2008). The OU offer a level 2 Human Biology which I am interested in. However I am not that confident in my abilities as I havent studied any sciences since I left school, would this course be a good place to start? I am on a low income and get financial award with the OU, should I just go for it? or should I just go for the anatomy and physiology course and try my luck?

If you are really interested in doing professional comp therapy, then an anatomy and phys therapy related course maybe your best choice.
If you do the L2 Human Biology, whilst you can get some credit towards the A&P you need for reflex for example you still have to some if it. Comp therapies are ususally level 3.
For those on a limited income, Adult Ed have funding assistance options, reduced fees etc. If you have no level2 qualifications now, some courses are even free (or very very reduced)- check them out.

Thank you both for the advice, I did not realise that I could transfere my OU credits to the A&P diploma so I will register for the human biology I have nothing to lose!. Also I will look into gaining some help with the fees for the reflexology course.
