Is ITEC Reflexology ok to work in Hospitals?

Hi Reflexologists,

I can't wait to start a reflexology course having just passed my ITEC A & P. My line of thought is towards an ITEC reflexology course, but I'm really unsure whether there's a difference between the ITEC qualification and any other reflexology qualifications. Can anyone enlighten me please???[sm=confused-smiley-012.gif]

Not sure if this will help, I have the ITEC dip in reflexology & both UCH/Middlesex hospital in london & a hospice where I do voluntary work are happy with the ITEC qualifications, at least on a voluntary basis.
I'm not sure but I think in order to get on to GP referral list, you need to be AOR (Association of refelxologists) registered, & I think there can be difficulties registering with the AOR with an ITEC qualification, at least there have been threads on here to that effect.
You can try looking on the AOR website (sorry, don't know the address) to find their approved courses, but I think they are mainly provided by private colleges rather than local/adult ed colleges, so could be more expensive.
