I've been getting regular massages for more than 4 years. I have picked up on a lot of the techniques used by my masseuse and between sessions I often give self massages. I'm a runner and suffer from tight glute muscles, so I find if I do a little work on these between professional sessions, it helps a lot. After a particularly hard workout, I was really tight and did some work around tight areas. I noticed I have two minor bruises on that area now. I do bruise easier than other people, but this was a bit surprising to me. Is this normal and okay?
