I have two slipped discs, but reading other threads I'm beginning to wonder why the pattern of my pain is so different. Usually the morning is the easiest part of the day and the pain ( which is a severe pinching pain in my lower right back) gets worse as the day progresses. If I walk/stand it gets much worse. By the evening it is really at its peak and I feel have to sit with my knee raised to my shoulder. This does not sound like the pain others are coping with. In addition I have had sciatic pain down the back of my calf. This was eased by a spinal block injection but has returned down the side of my leg. This pain comes and goes and can be particularly bad at night.
I am wondering if an osteopath might help but I'm very cautious after a bad experience with a chiropractor. Any advice would be really welcome.
