ok well i play soccer year round on a premier team and highschool varsity i am a freshmen and when i started highschool soccer we had games everyday and conditioning the days we didnt it was alot of hard work but i pushed through, twoard the end of the season i started to get a tight it band then it got so tight it was as hard as a rock the school trainer told me! and also it hurt! it would hurt when just sitting still and on the field! the trainer at school then began deep tissue massaging it and it helped a lot! now the season wore down and were in states and she hadent done the massage in a while and it hurts worse! its like i need the massage to be able to be pain free. my pain is now exactly all up and down the it band its very sharp and feels like contractions. idk what to do would anyone recomend me going back to pt? or even surgery bc i cant live with this anymore!
