ITEC anatomy and physiology

I'm due to start the first part of my reflexology training next Friday. For anyone who has already done the ITEC course. Can you give me an idea of what to expect from the course and what tips and advice would you give me.

Hi Jade,

I did ITEC A&P and Holistic Massage last year. And passed!

My main tip for the A&P is - make sure you learn and revise continually as you go along. There's FAR too much to leave it to the last minute.

Also have a good trawl through the Student forum - it's a really useful resourse and there's loads of help, advice and past questions there.

Hello ! I totally agree with Aldebaran keep learning as you go along . ITEC are big on inter relationships between systems so keeping up the learning as you go along means that you can start to see these patterns early on.

And Don't be put off by strange latin names esp for muscles and bones, they do become second nature by the end of the course. Making and rewriting lists helps here . The more you use them the more fluent you will become.

and don't forget your tutors are there to help you at every stage , there is no such thing as s illy question . Ask for clarification on anything you don't understand .

Finally have fun , it's a wonderful journey enjoy the travelling.
