I've broken into copywriting as a career, but as a newbie, I'm terrified of

deadlines!? I love writing, and consider myself both a writer and an artist. An all-around creative person. I'm excited to be breaking into copywriting as my first career, but I am so afraid of the turn-around time, the deadlines, afraid of cracking under the sudden pressure of the foreign territory of the job. I love learning, too, but I'm learning so much every day that I feel overloaded. Perhaps it is the fear that is stopping me up... Is this normal for a first job in this field? To all copywriters and anyone familiar with the creative process and this particular field, how do you cope? How do you keep up? When did you find your stride so that the deadlines became just a part of the job, and not too big of a deal in the grand scheme of your life? Encouraging words to keep this newbie from demoralizing herself would be great... a story of your experience would be equally salient and welcome. Thanks!
