With all due respect to "Yonge" I agree with the other posters. I've never heard or said it myself "I'm Jewish", when asked where I was from. In fact an SP asked me a few weeks ago" What Am I", and I answered "I'm Canadian", she looks at me, and I know she still has a question, so I ask her, are you asking me what my "Heritage" is? and she says yes, so then I say I'm Jewish. It's really as simple as that. Jewish is a Heritage, just like for many Whites who thier great grandparents camr here were "Anglo-Saxons". You have to remember that Judaism & Jews as a nation have been around as a single entity longer than any other "Nation" or Heritage. The bottom line Jews are more closely linked Religion/Heritage than any other nationality in the world.
