Just back from LOS

Spent 10 days in Patong and I've got to say it was way quieter than I've ever seen it before.
Stayed at C&N - 800 baht per night, good professional staff, great location.
Tried MTB this trip and found the staff really friendly - there's a girl there named Mem who is gorgeous looking, ended up talking to her for ages (not so easy as she doesn't speak English and my Thai is less than perfect).
Felt sorry for anyone who has invested in the bars at Nanai Road end of Soi Sansabai - drove past a few times and the area was totally dead.
Spent the rest of my time in Trang and Nakhon Si Thammarat, went to stay in a Muslim village on a little island ( Koh Sukorn) for the end of Ramadan, very different from Patong!

how was that and why did you go?......were you invited bt friend?....lots of Ramadan stuff here in Kamala Village...often wondered what it would be like to join in and hear the conversations of the old boys on the bamboo covered platforms....I am sure it would be an eye openner

Those bars top of Soi Sansabai are open till 6 in the morning and do ok like the Chang Club after Bangla road has shut.

Yes, was invited by a girl I know who is a cashier at a bar in Patong.
It was great, some of the nicest people I've ever met to be honest, a really pleasant surprise.
