Ive always had Swedish massages and recently went for my first deep tissue massage. It was very different and a little painful. The therapist spent alot of time on my upper back around my neck and between my shoulder blades.
She used her elbow to press on certain areas untill my muscle kind of "gave way" beneth her pressure. Near the end of the massage she was doing what seemed to be general relaxtion, swedish type strokes around my neck and upeforum.xxxack but and when she did I felt like all these "crunchy" type things moving around. What do you think that is and is it normal? Also, after the massage later that night, I got extrememly neausous. That never happend before to me either. Is that normal for having a deep tissue massage? After feeling so neasous, I finally drank some water (wich I hate) because she had advised me to, and it did make me feel alot better.
Thanks
