I just got my license a couple of days ago, and I am still in the process of getting my brochures printed, my website up (going with Spaboom...can't wait til it's done!) and my letters to all my "free" clients out...

So, anyway, I was having an estimate done on getting my house painted, and the guy who came to do the estimate found out through our conversation that I'm an MT, and he said, "So, can I buy a gift certificate? I didn't get my mom anything for Mother's Day..."

I made my first sale!!! Hurray! I'm so excited. I know many of you are years past this kind of thing, but I bet you remember your first "real" client, don't you?
