Not thru their web site stuff-- we're not signed up for that. In-house. It was a bit harrowing getting to this point, let me tell you! But now it looks like this is going to work very well for us.
First of all, I *must* include our establishment license number on all printed material that markets our office. I could NOT figure out how to add a plan extra text line in the gift certificate template. I contacted them through their "live chat", and the guy ended up calling me after a few minutes of both of us getting very confused-- not the best thing for me right now, since I had a tooth extracted on Monday and talking is still a "sore spot" for me! While he was suggesting that I make an "image" of the information that I needed to include and get it in that way (apparently you can add as many images as you want!), I realized that if I moved our street address from "address line 1" to "address line 2" in our System Settings--> location information, I could put the est ablishment license number in "address line 1" and it doesn't look *too* bad. It now goes like this:
At least it's on there now!
I have also been wrestling with creating my own templates. I got some made up, but for some reason I get an error message when I try to USE one of them. So I'll need to contact them on Monday to find out why that is.
A third issue was expiration dates. Due to TX escheat laws, I just don't want to put an expiry on the GC's we sell at all. The program demanded that I put one in. To top that off, it limited me to WHEN they could expire. I had to "chat again" with someone there (got a lady this time, one I've worked with before), and she fixed it to where I can enter an expiry date or not, as I choose. I do want to be able to put one in when we donate GC's for charitable events, just not when we sell them. So, that got fixed too!
Then, I went and made like I was selling a GC, and entered "SAMPLE" for each of the TO and FROM lines. I printed off the "preview" for each design I have available, wrote the template names on them, and put them in page protectors in a binder. So now clients can browse through the notebook and select the one they want to purchase.
We're not going to sell them online. At all. But now I have what I want (almost): customizable gift certificates, the client can choose what they want, and I can print them off. This means I don't have to spend money on different packs of gift certificates *hoping* that people will like what I've picked out. The only part that makes this an "almost" is the fact that I can't yet get my customized templates to work. I'll get it fixed. I just have to wait till Monday![/quote]

Thanks! I actually did finally realize that I could just save it to my hard drive, email it, and then delete it when done. I'm still working on playing with designing my own templates. You guys will probably be hearing from me about that soon!
