Karaoke?

Hey, where are the best places or bars to do karaoke in phuket?i did it when I stayed at phi-phi Island on my last tour,but didnt notice anywhere in Patong.

i did stay predominatly at Bangla and the Disco's and didnt venture in to any of the back streets so that might be the reason i didnt notice any.

There is a very popular one in Soi Sans Sabai next to Lek Murphy's Pub.It also stays open late.

There are lots of Karaoke bars in Patong. There is a good one about 50 meters down the soi beside VIP bar at the top of Bangala. Its on the right hand side and is upstairs. Ask Nicke and Ead in MTB, they know a few spots.

I walked past that Krappyoke place on the way back to Tana Patong on my last visit. I thought that they were just cr@p singers employed by the bar - did not realise they were drunk amatuers:embrassed

Last time I did karaoke was in Holland in a place near a wooded area. Took them ages to convince all the small mammals to return home. I can see a career for myself getting paid NOT to participate. =)

If you like hanging out with japanese lassies you can't go past the Paradise Hotel for Karaoke in Patong..........been known to warble a tune in there myself on two occasions........but be aware Soi Paradise is the centre of Patong's gay district....

In Patong, sometimes I ask girls about going Karaoke, but they never want to go , so I have never been there. They rather go Tiger, Baya, Safari, etc.

But in Hua Hin, it is the opposite. All the girls there LOVE to go Karaoke after the bars close at one and disco closes at two, then have a bite to eat, go to Karaoke at 3:00, drink and sing til 5:30 !! Great fun. Never been to Karaoke before. It was a blast!!!!!!!!

When I sang Rod Stewart song, "I don't want to talk about it, how you broke my heart...: " all the TGs know the words and sang along! 55555555.......

As a rule i always avoided karoke bars but i really had a good time in hua hin as well. After marc26 and i sang ob la di ob la da as a duet, i realized nobody cared how bad you were, so i sang house of the rising sun as my encore. I think i actually heard clapping ( not sure since it was about 3:30AM).

next time in patong i'll look forward to a little vocal exercise, just need to keep the vocal cords well lubricated....warm up w/ a couple of black deaths.

I haven't a clue where any of them are! I'm usually bladdered by the time I get there! Out of it by the time I am thrown out the door into the daylight in some unidentified street. Have fallen asleep on the back of a bike-taxi-thingie, been driven round Patong for 35 minutes and handed over what's left of Gsons cash to the smiling driver!

Had some breakfast somewhere and then found my way back to the Patong Villa to find the cleaners in the room. I love Karaoke me!
