Karon/Kata beach

Hey guys
Does anybody knows anything about Karon/Kata local scene? Is there any action or do I have to go to Patong? How much does the transportation cost between the 2 beaches (Patong-Karon)? Will the girls from Patong be happy to spend the night with me in Karon? Thanks

most forum members will say patong is where the night life is.

most bar girls will go anywhere so long as you pay enough.

if you can why don't you just get a hotel in patong and not worry about the travel or the tuk tuk drivers trying to rip you off.

have a great time where ever you stay.

Stay in the Action Jackson...It's a long ride late at nite when you are pissed and ready for a good shag.....What about the day time action.

Patong is where the action is and rooms are very cheap right now. See my post under General.....Rock Bottom Hotel Prices and then poste some questions.....The boardies will get you headed in the right direction!

i went on my first trip to phuket in may and stayed at the peach hill resort in kata.
there are a few bars in kata,and 2 had bargirls that where 500 baht a nite long time which was cheap but there birds werent all that.there are also nice restaurants and kata beach is the best beach i found.i stayed at peach hill 2 nites before moving to patong and staying at c & n it is where all the action is,and once you been to patong you will not wanna stay in kata.the tuk tuk fare was about 300-400 baht each way from kata to patong which made it cheaper for me to move to patong.
its upto you if you wanna pay the tuk tuk fare every nite and stay in an undoubtedly nicer area with a beautiful beach.but if its purely nitelife you after then patong is where to be.
also most hotels in kata charged 1000 baht joiner fee if you took a bar girl back with you.i no c&n in patong does not.
