Kati from Zona Blue... GONE!!!

Well, looks like some gringo fell in love with Kati, thin Tica with braces, pics in gallery, and went and got himself married.

On my last trip I was looking to chat with her and did not see her at ZB, finally asked around and word is she is now married to a Gringo.

Also ran into two other Ticas who were all smiles as they flashed me the rocks on their fingers. One Tica is marrying a gringo from Nebraska, the other Tica is marrying a Gringo from St. Louis.

I've known both Ticas for about six months now and both were so freakin' happy about getting out of the business. Also sensed some jealous vibes from some of the other chicas. I congratulated them both and told them I was very happy to see them leave the business.

I hope it works out for them.

I'd love to here how these relationships work out when you marry a MP girl. I have read so few success stories on the board. Those braces always scared me but she was a nice person. Are the other 2 from ZB as well. Maybe Eddie should open a marriage service on the side.

Kati was a sweet chica. She always seemed annoyed and/or aloof whenever I visited ZB. I never approached her and finally when I did I found she was a really sweet chica. I told her about her attitude and she laughed and agreed with me. said something about karol telling her to smile more if she wants to make more money. we chatted for a long time and i almost fell for the chica when she started to dance... i love females that know how to dance and damn she knew how to dance very well.

No, the other two Ticas were not from not from ZB. The one would usually be found at KL dancing all night long. The other was a DR Tica, who I met through her sister. Both are very sweet chicas.

Isn't this the dream of many chica's ?!?!? I wish them, and their gringo husbands luck. But......................It would be interesting to look ahead, about 2-3 years (after these chica's have been "gringa-ized") see how things are going. I think these gringo's might be surprised to see how their new chica wives view the term "Happily ever after". I'm sure the chica's will learn what "50 percent of everything" means.....very quickly! I hope I'm wrong......

Dont you have to be married a couple of years before they can get a green card? I was talking to my costa rican friend about becomming a CR citizen all he said was "just marry some girl" works both ways. If they ever divorce him he can move on down to cr without all the hassle i guess. Right?

To bring a foreign-born girl to the US you must apply for a K-1 Fiancee visa. The visa is good for 6 months from issue BUT it's only valid for 90 days once they hit US soil.

If they are not married within the 90 days the visa is invalid and they must leave.

If they do get married the husband then files an AOS (Adjustment of Status). That will get the girl US residency (green card) with restrictions.

90 days before the restricted green card expires (2 years) they must then apply for permanent residency. They then meet (again) with an immigration officer to determine that they are still married. If that is successful a 10-year permanent residencey is granted.

After 3 years of marriage to a US citizen and living in the US she can apply for citizenship.

My understanding is that you can get permanent residency very easily by getting married to a Tica. There are lawyers who will arrange the whole thing for a fee. You never have to even meet the chica.

Obtaining citizenship is a more involved process that can be taken after you are granted residency.

Sorry Handy I didn't mean to generalize I understand that there are exceptions to the rule. May I ask did you marry a working girl. Like I said I do wish them well. I just see it as taking a chance due nature of most hardened pros.
