Keeping in touch with BG's

I recently came back from my last trip during which i exchanged e mail, facebook, phone details etc with a few BG's in both Patong n Pats. Why?? coz i liked them, miss Thailand n the girls when at home or coz maybe will see them on my next trip.

Just wondering if any BM's have any experience in this matter, is it a good/bad idea? Any interesting stories?

In retrospect, the keep contact thing for me was not worth it – the “tink bout u, miss u much” sms and emails were a nice way to fill the void between trips but sooner or later ALWAYS got followed by some sick buffalo sob story and a send money request that would sour my attitude toward that girl.

Like Bawdy, I think “proven” regulars are worth having – but if you have enough of them you can reduce those odds of non-availability :mdr:

Just to add something to the GFE... back in 2007 ( In Kata since that´s where I hangaround, good or bad!?!? ) I was a little bit of a newbie... been there before since 2003 but not trying out the P4P-scene flat out...
Met a BG in Kata Bazaar... usual games so on! Coming back the day after ( not aware of the Butterfly thing... ) met another one, Nisa, IMO a good looking thing! We hit back to the hotel, had a great time, and it also turns out that she is 5 DAYS younger than me.... I would have put her in her late 20s, early 30s... but anyway...

She stayed LT, leaving in the morning, had my time at the beach during the day, couldn´t stop thinking of her, so I went back to the bar later in the evening. Couldn´t find her there, so I hooked up with Em!

Back to the hotel, had an evening with Em, not as good as with Nisa... but anyway!

Next evening, back to the bar to find Nisa, which I do! Then suddenly hugh quarrel starts, Nisa & Em!!
It turns out that they are "roommates"... First time exeperience ot the "Butterfly thing"...

Anyway, things works out, and I and Nisa has a good time for the rest of my stay!
Kept contact later on by phone, text etc.

Came back next year and hooked up again! Then decided that she should come over to me i Sweden, not a problem! Filling in all of the forms required etc etc.
Then my friend is married to a Thai lady, not a BG, her sister has been here in Sweden for 30 years or more, and they met here in Sweden when she was visiting.

Anyway, they always go to her "Village", 5 hrs taxidrive north of BKK every Christmas & New Year, so we set up a meeting with Nisa and my friend in BKK! They do, my friends wife gets a "bad feeling, no good" when meeting up! Ends up with Nisa going with some UK bloke, from what I understand older than me... that´s her choice!

A little later, texts shows up that she misses me... kinda ignores it, but finally responds that You made Your choice!

One night, my phone rings, ( Nisas nr ) a stiff "Brit" shouts at me that I should not bother them... and I told him politely that I am not! So good luck with Your love with Your GF!

A couple of months passes, Nisa calls, Brit-guy left her for a Younger Thaigirl... asking for money since her dad was ill! Well, I do respect them, and will continue to do, but I also realise that in someway some of them are in a really desperate situation!

Nisa is now also grandmother, since her daughter, ( 20 something ) have given berth with her boyfriend.
She now lives in Tak and has left the P4P-scene. We do have contact once in a while as friend, which I´m glad for.

Her room mate Em, she is married to a cabdriver in Norway, someplace north of Oslo...

So, what have I learned from that, anything can happen, just keep Your eyes open, and have a bright & clear mind!

I have also discussed this with my friend here back home ( the one married to a TG ) and she has a massager parlour ( not the one we might be used to ) and she is doing great business, sends money back home to her family and her son.

Well, that´s the end of my reply to this tread, so hope I can meet some of You up at MTB when I get back in october, and hopefully put a face to all of Your "Nicks"!

Back on topic, what's the cheapest and best way to be calling/staying in touch with these girls from Australia?
I've been back seriously 2 days and my phone has been ringing like crazy from the girls. I'll be broke in no time at this rate!
Usually before it was just text messages, but the one girl i stayed with LT wants to talk all the time, I've already spoken to her 5 times since leaving!

Any suggestions on the best international calling cards/services?

P.S She doesn't have a/know about computers, so skype and facebook are out of the question.
