It was a great day at Santa Clara on July 1st.
I had this itch on my back that I just couldn't scratch (alas there's no rubbing alcohol left at my house) and I found out that Santa Clara was open for business.
Kristie was available, so I booked an appointment with her. I rode my bike over as quickly as I could without spilling any beer out of my handlebar cup holder.
I arrived 15 minutes early for my scheduled time, and to my delight, Kristie greeted me at the door with a great big smile.
("You really didn't ride your bike over in this heat, did you?" she asked in a concerned manner.)
I took a quick shower, (not my cup of wine to wander down a hall for a shower) and waited in the room for Kristie.
She came in and eagerly began the session. I had an excellent, energetic massage. Kristie initially asked if I'd like a bit of oil, and she proceeded to work out the various knots in my arms, shoulders, neck, back and legs. I truly enjoyed her (quite firm) massage. She had just the right amount of firm and teasing touch throughout. (at one point I thanked her for such a great massage, while biting my lip trying to show restrain from moving too much under her attentive care-giving)
The rest of the session became a blur of bliss and delight. Kristie continued to dispense a great massage, using various parts of her body to soothe my aching muscles. I vaguely recall asking for a bit more on this spot, and a bit more on that spot. (Maybe I shouldn't have drank so much - Naw!@) Kristie complied a little, but she stayed the course, never veering too far from her objective, and made sure I was totally satisfied by the time the session was over.
At the end, I felt totally drained, but renewed at the same time. Kristie offered me a warm towel to wipe off some oil, and we had (IMO) a very nice, frank chat about quite a number of interesting (and some INCREDULOUS!!!) topics.
Kristie was in no rush to get me out of the room (her last appointment was very late!!) and we talked about school, work, travelling, some other guys (some real shlepps out there!!!) and throughout this, I was able to listen to and recognize a very pretty, intelligent and extremely observant lady.
From start to finish I was there an hour! I tried to give Kristie a modest tip for the additional time, to which she very politely objected. I insisted, and she accepted it very graciously.
I had an excellent time. I hope to repeat soon!
After leaving, I retrieved my bike from the dumpster across the street and slowly weaved and wobbled my way home.
It didn't matter that the bike was too small for me, or the rims were bent,
or that my water bottle had no more beer in it, I was floating on air the entire way home.
Thanks, Kristie!
