Kur Face Rest

I just purchased a Kur face rest, however it has an unpleasant smell... like rancid oil. Is this normal at first?If so, what is the most effective, and quickest way to air it out?ThanksJenn

I have a Kur face rest pad and it never smelled like much of anything.  You might want to report it to the supplier and request an exchange.  How can you use it for its intended use if it has an odor?  Aromatherapy may help but I don't think it should smell bad as a new item out of the box.Good Luck!C.

I bought the memory foam topper for my futon and when I took it out of the plastic it had a odor.  The instructions said it would and let it air out awhile.  I thought, "OMG, this smells horrible.  I can't sleep on this."  Call the company, it may be normal.

Kur Face Rest

Thanks! I've been airing it out all day. I removed the cover it helped. It had been airing in the cover, and still smelled horrible. Fingers crossed I can get it back in.

My memory foam pillow said an odor is normal for the first few days.  It did go away after a day or two.Katykangaroo
