I love La Gloria bar. Often you can find a good chica or two, but the people are always so nice and the beers are cheap.

I'm amazed in the story before that the guy bought a chica a drink....and stayed to listen to her sales pitch.

The girls you describe know they are ugly, so they have developed thick skin to withstand your obvious disgust with her. The only way to get rid of these over-ripened hoes is to have equally thick skin, then just stand up and leave without feeling any thought of embarrassing her. It's pure business and nothing else. You're paying for time with a chica you enjoy spending time with, not a fat, old puta.

About the OP topic, Chavelas and Tropical have some occasional good lookers. I walked in La Gloria a few times before and never saw anything I liked. Noteworthy that La Gloria is 100% locals, seemingly no gringos ever. A good rule of thumb is this: bad bars usually have aggressive barkers. Whenever I get a call to go inside a bar, my defenses go up.

About 3 years ago my buddies and me went to this bar in La Revolucion that is about 3-4 blocks away from "La zona de tolerancia" because according to my buddy this place was rocking the last time he was there. I don't know the name of the bar. All I know is that it's in the corner of Revolucion and you go downstairs.

The place was dead. We were the only ones there, along with some guy(mesero?/owner?), and this fat lady who stuck to me like gum. Other than her being fat and ugly I have nothing else bad to say about her. I'm still livid that we bought one round of drinks there. I could have done without this.

I think most these other bars are either tourist traps, rip off joints or meant for the locals only. I stopped trying out these places years ago. I remember an instance when at Bamby's I had this hideous looking 40+ yr old skank brought to me by the mesero and every freeking word out of her smelly mouth was, "I love you, buy me another drink", "I love you let's go to the room". Holly shit, it took a lot to unburn her image from my mind. She was 50 pounds or so overweight, was missing several teeth and wanted me to endorse my paycheck over to her. Just freeking anoying as hell and she just wouldnt get the fuck off my lap so I couldnt leave.

How about some information or experiences regarding La Chavella or some of the other bars.

Does anyone have good stories to tell about them? (or bad stories)
