La Mansion, directions

Could someone please provide me with directions to La Mansion. Like to visit it on my trip this week. If there is another recommended MP in San Tana (sp?) or Escazu that has some great looking talent, that would also be appreciated.

To put flesh on Brother J0sie's bare-bones post--There are Brothers here who have put considerable time and effort into constucting our Monger's Maps (I doubt you'll find a better one for here or anywhere else in the world). It just wouldn't be right to give it away for free. Consider it another valuable benefit of membership, along with the discounts and the access to member's only Forums.
Even if time before vacation is short, you can get membership and access almost instantly after your CC data is processed. PM Admin1 about picking up the physical card in CR if time is that tight but everything else--BOOM--you're there. And please safeguard it by not sharing it with others.

I don't understand why some people are being so rude. Plenty of other people on this board have asked for directions without this type of hostility.

I have searched the boards from top to bottom and as far as I can tell there are no MP's in Santana or Escazu. La Mansion is 7 blks south of the Del Ray around the corner from Pantera Rosa. My opinion is that the "mongers map" is well worth the cost of membership. Good luck, Al.

It amazes me how much bullshit comes from this forum. Of course CRT did not create the forum asshole, but it has its fair share of them on it.

I think JOsie's response was short, but I understand where he is coming from. Look at his post count for the time he has been a member and compare it to SeaRay460's or Aspensam's. I don't mean to single them out but I think JOsie's reply was a typical reaction from someone who participates, expresses opinions and gives the benefit of his experience as compared with those who, for whatever reason, come here to harvest the data and give little or nothing in return.

No one has to post their exploits or share their opinions but it gets a little old jumping to the assistance of those who post rarely and don't support the board with their VIP dues. It's human nature.

Re: Santa Ana/Escazu'. Nothing that I know of, although there are several nice places near the Machu Pichu restaurant on Paseo Colon, west of el centro on the way to Escazu'/Santa Ana. I suspect the good, wealthy folks of Up-scazu' and Santa Ana can afford to hire top-shelf talent, should they desire, and probably don't need/want an MP in their upscale neighborhoods.

Vis-a-vis the map/membership: Sea Ray, even if you don't "need" the discounts, etc., the $39.00 annual/$99.00 lifetime membership helps support this forum. Admin 1 shells out a lot of money over the course of a year for bandwidth/Internet hosting, and I'm quite certain that any memberships help him to keep this very worthy site alive. If somebody above seems confrontational, maybe it's because everybody likes to get a little something in return if/when they answer the same old questions ad nauseum. Of course, V.I.P. membership is voluntary, and I don't think it's anybody's business if you choose to join or not... but, like learning Spanish, joining CRT V.I.P. is a good idea. Unlike learning Spanish, V.I.P. membership is cheap and easy.

And speaking of cheap and easy, enjoy La Mansion! :wink:

BTW, lots of guys know where the various places are...so if you're in C.R., just ask a CRT brother at the SL or elsewhere. Say, have you ever tried Pucho's? Great massage/happy ending. :twisted: It's right across the street and down the block from Bar IDem; Idem, Relax and la Mansion are all in the same general neighborhood as Pucho's. Enjoy.

Be careful Aspensam this forum has become a private forum for a handful of member to post their opinions on the current state of Costa Rica. When other post their opinions based on their experiences it is quickly shot down by theses elite members. I have had a few run ins with a few of them. You are wasting your time engaging the elite members they have developed a secret society of the TICO ORDER and their experiences and opinions out weigh ours always.

I would post more but why when everything you say is analyzed, dissected, and then thrown back at you. Better to say quite and speak only when you have to.

It not a matter of fear of these member but why get kickoff the forum for nothing.

I agree with Brother Jadcujo's defintion #1--that's why I'm here --to get the best of collective wisdom, even if (or especially if) viewpoints clash directly (to overstate the obvious, look at the opinions expressed on MPs vs. Independents). I don't know of anybody who contributes thoughtfully who has been hooted down. "Elite" is not the same as "elitist"--I am as much an outsider as anybody here and if I can find acceptance with my sometimes divergent, always skewed point of view, anyone can. We don't just tolerate, we embrace differences (witness Brothers Greengo and Steven1--I'm not picking on them at all, merely illustrating differences). Think again on that bolded word "thoughtful". And finally nobody needs read or respond to anything posted--if anything truly soul-deep offends, we do have a very active moderator (another reason this Board is such a success). And all this for $.75 a week. Just my 2 cents...
