I would also recommend starting off with cradling. First do it standing still then, jogging, running, and finally sprinting. A good trick a use to see if your cradle is good enough is to lie on your back and cradle if it falls out you need to work on it but if stays in your good. Next try throwing the ball against a wall or to a partner then start running / sprinting while throwing to ball up in the air. The basic layout of the field is a center for each team take the draw and three are 8 people on the circle surrounding them( 4 from each team. an attack wing and defensive wing. Then on the right after the restraining line( about 25 yard form the mid line) the offense is there at the goal they are attacking there a 3 homes. Then there are 3 defense at the opposite restraining line. Hope the helps and good luck!
