Prostitution Arrests Made at Topless Club on 6-12-2005


The Laredo Police Department narcotics and vice squad finished a day-long investigation at a local topless club that led to some arrests. The probe at Babes Cabaret, located in the 8300 block of San Lorenzo involved some information indicating prostitutes were soliciting customers within the establishment.

Undercover police indeed were solicited by two dancers at the club.

Arrested was (.....). She was charged with prostitution, a class B misdemeanor.

Also taken into custody was (.......).

Both women were booked and remanded to the Webb County Jail. Police also identified six other women who were undocumented aliens who were turned over to Border Patrol.

Police also seized $1700 in cash during the undercover sting operation.
