Late afternoon fun at your hotel possible ?

First time to Patong & Thailand coming up soon, & I've read a lot of posts on the forum already but not really seen exactly what I'm looking for. I'm after some suggestions regarding the best bars to go to during the mid/late afternoon, to meet & then take a girl back to my hotel for 2-3 hours of fun in the late afternoon/early evening. Obviously this would mean she's free to go to work in the evening/night-time again. Not sure if this counts as ST or LT ?

Nearly everything I've read so far has been about either taking girls ST upstairs above a bar or a ST room, or taking a girl LT back to your hotel overnight, both of which I'm not really interested in doing.

I'm guessing that not many girls are available so early in the day, but I suppose anythings possible, as long as the moneys enough.

yep.....you still have to pay BF but its very possible

Best way i find is to get a few numbers the night before, then give one a ring to see if they fancy popping round. No bar fine usually if they come round early enough...

^ Thats what i was going to suggest, gather phone numbers on your nights out.. sure there will be girls wanting to earn extra Baht before work.

Or just pick a massage girl you fancy and ask her how much she wants for a massage in your loom. And if you're too lazy or have a huge hangover, just ask your reception staff to send up a girl.

This request is one thats being catered to way less than years back , when the bars along Sawatdirak road near the old Soi Sea Pearl pumped all afternoon, and more well up Rat-U-Thit rd and Soi Eden ( Dream Bars , Khungs , Cowboy, Jums) did so too.
Everything has skewed toward late to very late, massage places not included.

I've been wondering that for awhile Deano, so the later the bars stay open the later the punters arrive at the bar, because you can only drink often for a certain number of hours a night. Which then means you stay out to silly o'clock and miss most of the following day sleeping etc. I have to admit I have thought, maybe I'm missing the point cos I'm getting old and would rather go out at 6 or 7pm and back home for 12,1 or 2am. whereas Oli prefers to go out at 10/11pm and back with the sunrise. In the Uk they used to have their stupid opening and closing times, which must have been really hard for tourists to get their heads round the reasoning, open at 10am shut at 2pm, open again at 6pm and closed by 11pm. When they went to open 24 hours if you want, all the bar owners moaned and said all that happens is people come out later and stay later and our staff overheads increase for the same amount of sale revenue, it seems the same to me with Bangla.

Yeh, pretty much as you say....
I think the clubs giving free lady drinks as well has dangled a carrot for the under 30s tgs to stay home till late, not have to clean bar or anything like that , then hit the clubs and go FL.... Hollywood started all that , with the allowance that they stay open till morning , killed Safari as well as driving bars to open later and later...
