LAVA SPA 322 1/2 Bloor St. West

Dropped by the Lava Spa recently.
It just opened. Facilities are nice enough. New, freshly painted.

No sign of showers. There wasn't one in the room I was in but I didn't need one so I didn't enquire further.

I paid $40 for a half hour. My attendant was a well endowed East Indian going by the name Kim.
She was on the chunky side (actually fat), but she was wearing a revealing blouse that
showed off her boobs and seemed nice enough.

The massage itself was very mediocure - crappy technique with no teasing.

About ten minutes into it she asked if I wanted to turn over. I did so and she continued. Eventually, she asked what else I would be interested in - I asked for topless - it was $20. She continued for a few minutes and then asked if I wanted a hand release. When I said yes, she said that would be another $40. That basically blew it for me. I politely declined - she massaged a few minutes longer and I left.

It continually amazes how many women in this business don't know what the hell they are doing. Interesting, I had arrived fully prepared to spend $100 but sure as hell wasn't going to spend it on a topless massage (and wasn't in the mood to barter with someone who had just tried to rip-me-off so didn't bother suggesting it.)

Where are the friendly, sexy MPAs (in lingerie preferably), who understand that $100 (or so) for a 1/2 hour should be an experience for the guy to remember and recognize they are coming out the deal pretty well too?

It has been a nightmare trying to get decent service downtown since 50 Yorkville closed. (490a Yonge wasn't even in the same league)

All-in-all a big waste of time and money.

I won't go back and I advise you all to stay away!!

You know mobydick, when I recall the massage sessions I had through the last year, I get shocked. Out of every 10 sessions, I had only two or three good sessions. So, the ratio is %30 good and %70 bad. The year before was far better, I do not know why.

There are a lot of ladies coming to this industry with high expectaions for cash flow, but in return, they do not have any skill or experience in massage and they do not have any wish to provide a service that matches the money they charge.

During many sessions, I felt that I am like a pizza dough and the girl was doing her best to stretch the dough fastly. Some other sessions, I could feel the tons of oil - not extra virgin oil -poured on my back and front which will latter force me to stay under the shower for an hour. Some other sessions, the girl just passes her hands back and forth on your body, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, just like a Robot.

How about the finish? Do not even mention it. Sometimes I had the feeling that the girl was going to tear Mr Happy. In some other occations, the girl was looking at the celling praying for god to save her from that job.

Now, here is the funniest situation I had, one time I was at Alphacare, and the attendant was a cute south american girl, she was very cute, friendly and nice, but she did not know ANY THING about massage. Her nice attitude and her effort to make me happy, forced me not to complain or tell her that the massage was so bad. Any way, when I turned for the finish, I was so sure that I will not be turned on so she can finish. On the contrary, I was turned off, and Mr Happy was shrinking and shrinking to a degree that I have never seen it before, but all of a sudden, the girl said a comment which induced me to burst into laugh for a long time. she said "Oh, my god, you are so big". She said it in a very serious and encouraging way.

I had a similar experience at the Oriental place in Markham on Denison and Esna Park just before Christmas. I can't remember the name of the attendent, but she was cute about 5'2" in height. On the flip she looked at my garbage and said "IT SO FAT AND YOU SO THIN!" We had a hearty chuckle as I told her I'd phone my parents to thank them when I got home.
