LEARNING CHAIR MASSAGE BUSINESS?

I am new to massage therapy and a student right now. How do I learn the ins and out's of chair massage business.

Is there a specific publication for building a chair massage business or a website resource?

Any info would be appreciated.

As a student, I would think eventualy your school will cover this. Ask if it will be part of your curriculum.

Your school will probably spend some time on it, but very doubtfully would cover "the ins and outs of the business". If you are serious about chair massage, TouchPro is a good resource.

I absolutely agree with Joshua on this point. Chair massage is taught as a promotional tool, not as a business venture.

If you live in an area where the massage program does events for free, it makes it a little more difficult to market your business, but at least people are usually aware of "what" it is and its benefits.

Gimme a couple of years and I'll write a book.

I have been doing some looking at businesses like Infinite Massage who focus on chair work for business, trade shows, etc......They contract therapists and just put all the jobs together. That is what I am interested in. I would like to build a business like that in the future. I know most schools don't focus on the chair as primary business but that is what I would like to do and later ad a Spa business.
