Just came back from 3 nights in Vegas.
I don't gamble so this was strictly R&R. Took a friend :he: from Montreal. I insisted on seperate rooms to provide both of us with some freedom. We each had a key to each others room though and I repeated demonstrated impeccable timing walking in on her nude.
First day is always tough due to the time difference and needing to get to the airport early to clear customs. Even an early show (7.30pm) makes a long day. When you start at 6 am eastern time and finish at 11 pm pacific time you are done. After some push-ups and other linguistic exercises we saw the Chris Angel show at the Luxor. It was supposed to be a combined magic and Cirque de Soleil show but other than a couple of really lame wierd comics there was very little Circ to it. Overall I give the show 5/10 and do not recommend. Dinner after at the Wynn was good but pricey although we discovered a great Argentinian red. Both of us crashed.
Next morning the obligatory shopping and some fun in the Lingerie store in the Wynn which also sells sex toys. Did you realize that you can spend $150 for a JimmyJane vibrator ?

Off to the pool. Divided into 3 sections and 6 pools. The Beach Club which is for people with more money than brains where a cabana cost $2,500 a day and a chaise lounge cost $200. Supposedly for the beautiful people and topless and naught etc. Had a tour and saw lots of beautiful women in small bikinis ( given free passes no doubt to attract the male suckers) but no naughty action, not even topless. Off to another pool that is free and promises "European Bathing" and is restricted to those 21 years and older. Americans must think Euro bathing means drinking Evian water instead of red bull because there was nothing topless there either. Third pool is family. Back to the room for more push ups and to try out the purchases.
Saw a great show on night two called Absinthe at the Ceasar's Palace. It was in a tent with "in the round" seating for about 300 people. Very intimate. The show was a combination Cirque de Soliel meets Rocky Horror picture show. Definitely adult entertainment, very funny and with amazing acrobatics up close and personal. It didn't hurt that I fell in love with every single female performer who all had incredible bodies and who all did amazing tricks in g-strings and pasties about 10 feet from you ( I was in the front row). My friend admitted being wet from both the women and the men. I give the show 10/10 and my highest recommendation. Dinner at another Wynn restaurant, the Lakeside Grill was excellent.
Third day we did the helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon. Something you need to do once but a bit overpriced at $450 each. I give it a 7/10. The last night's show - well I'm slightly embarrassed admitting I went to it. My only defense is that I blame it on her and her not really knowing. Yes you might have guessed, we went to see Celine Dion. And no I am not gay , although there were 3 obviously 'light in the loafers" guys sitting directly behind us.
Again at Ceasar's but in a special theatre. It holds, I would guess 3,000 people and it was sold out. I had a middle lower ochestra seat at $250 a pop. Closer seats had a face value of $900 but were thankfully sold out. It was actually a decent show so I guess that means I'm at least bi. The smaltzy songs were compensated for by probably the most amazing set of pipes I have ever heard. Her new show goes through a lot of styles including jazz. I give it an 8.5/10 and a recommendation ( which I never thought was remotely possible before I heard her).
Ate sushi twice that day
3 days in Vegas is about right, it was fun but much more would have been too much.
