LED Signs coming more and more

I bought a small one for MTB 6 weeks ago, now I saw yesterday Billabong bar in Sansabai also got one, and Taipan, with a huge LED sign replacing the old light rope and light box.

As for beautiful signs, Aussie Bar's neon sign is one of the best in Phuket. But LED signs offer new animation/color changing possibilities.

I guess we will see more of them.

The one Bob has just had put up for Tai Pan looks awesome, the place always stood out even with the old sign, it'll pay for itself very quickly i should imagine

I think thats the reason LED signs have suddenly become so popular, as you said driving past you can't miss it.... A good business initiative

Yes, the only LED sign supplier in Phuket as I am aware of. When I bought my sign in July he showed me other designs, some were quite creative.

I was thinking about outside sign aswell, but I think it may be too bright now when Eric want make the street darker.

Can you plug in your laptop and upload some new designs? Did they give you software for you to do your own programing?

It doesnt work that way, I guess you have the old scrolling LED displays in mind, to show messages and do some basic effects, which you programmed with a keyboard.

The new signs are custom made and only have LEDs according to your design, its not a matrix of LEDs.

Is it multicolorued LED's? You could cycle through the colors if you want.

They are doing some awesome stuff now with LEDs and outdoor building lighting.

Thats a LED Video Screen, to show videos with low resolution. Its a matrix of red/green/blue LEDs. Good for advertising or TV screens at concerts etc.

Yes Nicke, and the first of his kind in Phuket!
Very hight resolution on this kind of screens are extremely expensive, around
150,000 dollars and not so sure if that could be a good investement here in Phuket noting all the "jungle"of power lines around.
