Legit long term RMT

Maybe I won’t receive many responses and that fine, but I’ve been looking for a true long term masseuse. One that evaluates my issues, plans out over what may be a long term solution, and lastly follows through.
With all the “Chains” popping up everywhere, the reviews on various sites are so varied, I’m totally jaded from pursuing a chain masseuse. Never mind the fact that this forum has its benefits but not towards finding a gem of a genuine RMT.
I don’t care about sensual extras. I have my outlets for such, and some are better than others for a therapeutic massage. But what I want is a “Personal Trainer” of RMT’s. One that understands my issues, adapts to new issues, and caters to what ails me.

I would think you would have your pick of such a person! I mentioned Health Matters before. Other than the noisy shop the ladies there were very skilled and attentive to my concerns. Katie in Ellerslie was also good at her work. Of course there's always Sunny...

Hey Spexx, I see a an RMT on the west end who works from home and she is a trained doctor, rmt and acupuncturist, she is great for working all the muscles and the pressure points. No funny stuff but will work with you to take care of any aches and pains you have and takes health seriously.

I have a sports therapist who also does acupuncture with a medical background. He(yes it’s a man) deals with injuries, rehab, uses acupuncture, massage, and exercise . A lot of times the injury or cure is not even in the area you think. I recommend if your seeking help for an issue seek out a true therapist. Get a referral from your doctor. Glen Sather sports medicine center at UofA can steer you in the right direction and you don’t necessarily need to be an athlete. Kijiji isn’t the place these professionals advertise. I will never have a deep massage except from a medically trained person. It may temporarily feel good but it’s not addressing or correcting the problem.

Spexx, You can look at Massage Logics in the West End. Excellent google reviews. I have been going there for more than 10 years. The owner sits on the Provincial governing and regulatory body.

Very legitimate.
