Letters after your name

Hi, i am on vistaprint, updating my postcards and i have been wondering for a while if i am able to put letters after my name. I have done two ITEC courses, holistic and sports and then i have done a days training with inspire for myofascial release and i am currently taking seated back and indian head massage.
Can anyone help me

If you going to use letters after your name, keep it simple.

Personally if I see something like: Dip.Mass, Dip.Reflex, Cert.IHM, C.Hyp (distant), RSFOM, MFMA, VTEC, ABC, EFG, XYZ, Cert. On-Site (Assoc) Intl and so forth... I can't take that therapist seriously. Suggests jack of all trades and master of none.

Just use ITEC (as this is your core qulaifications) and any initials of organisations that you may be a member of. Focusing on professional membership comes across as more professional.

Hi

ITEC, MCThA is all you need. Some therapists use ITEC Dip, MCThA. Just personal choice. If you have room on your postcard, it might be nice to mention that you are "registered and insured with the Complementary Therapists Association", and then it's up to the potential client to check you out.

I don't use letters after my name because IMO it confuses the clients and the don't know what they mean.

But I do have the logos of the associations I'm a member of.

Over the last few decades the use of letters after the name has declined. I think it's because there are so many and it can give the impression that letters after a name are impressive and competitive.

All our clients need to know is that we are qualified and insured.

However, there are certain professions that will still keep using their letters. Although I've noticed that my lawyer has stopped using hers.
