Licensed Equine Therapists?

Does anyone know of a state that currently licenses equine therapists, or equine massage therapists?

Here in Mass there is none, which I think is too bad. I have very strong feeling about that. I don't think that 200 hr. course quilfies someone as an EMT if you have no massage back ground. I have yet to find an Equine Massage course that impresses me. I am on the hunt for a coures that is geard toward already being a massage therapist. All the courses I have found are made for people who have no massage background.

Have you considered Myofascial Equine Therapy?

Licensed Equine Therapists?

Here in CA there is no form of control for equine massage therapy pretty much anyone can call themselves an massage therapist. I asked a few of the programs offered what that means for practitioners in the future and they feel that if you get a reputable certification then you should be grandfathered in if any regulations are passed.
