Live music during massage

A long time client of mine recently married a musician. They are young and in love............she was recently in a motor vehicle accident, so is coming in for weekly massage. She's extra stressed due to the injuries and the hassle from dealing with insurance, etc, and is having a lot of pain .
New husband is a classical/jazz guitarist. He often comes with her and waits in the waiting area and reads, but he arrived today with his guitar. We had talked about this in passing during her last session, and they asked if I minded if he played guitar during her session. I said absolutely he could, as long as that was what she wanted. He came and sat in the massage room and played classical guitar riffs during her hour session.
It was.................euphoric. What a delightful experience. I almost felt like I should have paid him. For my client it was so soothing and comforting. To have her love in the room with her playing music to relax her was such a gift, and for me it was a fabulous hour. Although she wasn't there for a relaxation massage, the music definitely set the tone for the session.
Anyone else ever had live music during a massage?

I have actually been thinking about offering this. My studio is about a block from the music building at Appalachian State University. To contract a guitar, flute, or cello student (maybe even clarinet, etc) to provide music would be lovely, I think. They would sit on the other side of the room partition to play. Musician's hourly rate would be added on to the cost of the massage.

Not sure how many takers I would have, but it just sounds heavenly to me .

I had the same thought. Don't know how many people would partake of it, but if I had discretionary cash I'd definitely do it! My office is a sole practitioner space, and my massage room is basically on the other side of a partition, so the musician could sit in the waiting room and the music would waft over the top.

He said it was very soothing for him also............I hope they do that again next week, I loved it!

I went to a friends birthday party with the table, she has a friend that plays harp, she played most of the evening while I was doing massages in the garage. One feller requested stairway to heaven, which she was able to play for us. It was wonderful.
