I sold 127 vouchers through living social. So far, so good. The calls came right away and many at first.
We have only redeemed 42 vouchers so far and they have a year to use them. It has been great so far.
these clients are filling in my empty spaces on my books. Several have already re- booked, came in for their next massage and
booked again before leaving. I would definately do this again. However, they talked me into offering a 2 hour session.
Includes a 60 min. massage, mini facial and body scrub. I will never agree to this kind of deal again. But I would offer just a massage.
It stinks that these clients are taking up 2 hours on my schedule, but they are enjoying their services and leaving excellent feedback on
the living social website. They sold these vouchers for $49.00. I get half of that. They already sent me a check for $3,100. There is an 80% redemption rate.
I have had to already tell a few people that their vouchers are void because they canceled at the last minute. I do not allow them to reschedule if they cancel at the
last minute. Not my problem. Besides those are not the clients i want anyway. So, anyway i think it's been great. I would do it again. Remember, these deals are not
about making profit. They are about introducing your business to potential new clients, that many of us could not afford to reach otherwise. Advertising would be
expensive and there is no garentee people will respond to your ads.
