According to MCSO officials, with the help of law enforcement on the ground in Las Vegas, the deputies are searching several locations including the home of a madam who owned SF Massage on 813 Lake Air Drive in Waco.
Yuxia Li, 54, has been charged with continuous trafficking of persons, a first-degree felony, and her accomplice Shi Ziyu, 25, has been charged with engaging in organized crime, officials said.
The plan was to arrest Li in Las Vegas, however, officials said she and Ziyu had flown back to Texas.
"They can run off, but we're sure gonna catch 'em," said Sheriff Parnell McNamara.
Li and Ziyu were arrested at their attorney's office in Richardson Thursday by U.S. Marshals assisting MCSO with the investigation.
McNamara said the relationship between Li and Ziyu was unclear.
He said with the help of Vegas authorities, so far his deputies had seized 'a lot' of computers and documents and many 'other items.'
"I'm very proud of these guys for taking the extra steps and doing this," said McNamara.
Deputies who raided the Waco massage parlor on March 28 rescued two human trafficking victims.
They said the women from China had been performing sex acts for several months and didn't speak English or have vehicles.
The women were placed with UnBound, a local organization supporting victims.
McNamara said they believe the human trafficking ring goes into other states.
"We're not going to let up on these people," said McNamara.
