LONGBOARD HELP.... for a newbie !?

so i'm brand new to this whole longboarding deal. i need to know the basics for choosing and buying one .... what brands are the best? is it better to get them "completed" or buy the seperate parts? what type is good for a beginner? does my height affect the size i should get? thank you!

try to get a "Sector 9" complete board, if you have small legs try to see if you can get a little smaller board ( for stability) besides that, you're set

if you don't want t spend a ton, get a complete sector 9. if you want to spend a little more, get a sector 9 deck, paris trucks, and abec11 wheels with bones (reds) bearings. then when the time comes, you can get a new, nicer deck and throw that excellent setup on it
