I was in Tamarindo for 3 weeks in Aug and found p4p at several locales..Sharkys on Wed and Sat night..and the Pacifico on several nights...Few but the ones I saw and talked to were very nice and had big fake ta tas....
Watch out as there were a few ladyboys too that were very passable...

Hopefully since Sharky's burnt down they will have it up quick. Pacifico is a definite +. Aqua Disco is also a hotspot. No massage parlors anywhere..

Go there for the for the surfing, not the chicas. Good river breaks at Playa Grande (just north) and at Playa Langosta (just south). Also good beach break at Playa Grande. Then go back to San Jose for "fun". $33 Inmassageplanetus. Recently went to Tamarindo with some hard core 'Dawn Patrol'ers. Ditched them after 5 days to return to San Jose.

They do have talent in Tamarrindo and It's usually at the casino in the middle of the beach road. It doesn't start happening until 8 or 9, but there are some stars. They will start a Cien, but you can get tnem down to Ochenta and There is a ladies night every night of the week at a different bar every night! Just ask where Ladies Night is that night and you'll find talent! No MP's or Brothels, but the Casino with the Ramad out front has talent from 4's to 8's! I have been living in Playa Grande for the last 6 years and I've run into some real talent on occasion! Buenos Suerte

Are you taking about the casino across from hotel Diria? That was closed down when I was there in Aug...but you are correct about the ladies night scene..find that and you will find p4p.. Best bet is Pacifico's on the circle now that Sharkys is gone..

Will not be rebuilt anytime soon. The owner of Sharky´s was leasing the location and the owner of the building cannot afford to rebuild. He was only holding out to one day sell the building and lot.

Fire insurance is required by law in Costa Rica but do not think it is enough to rebuild on that location.

Owner of Sharky´s is not willing to pay to build his on structure on the lot and the asking price of the lot is stupid high for what it is.

That is not a common occurance. It's usually 3 or 4 or 5 to 1 men outnumbering the women. That'd be considered a "buyer's market".

IMO buyer's market/seller's market doesn't matter much. It's whatever deal YOU can strike with your lady. If she really doesn't want to go with somebody, she'll quote them a high price even if there are only 6 guys in the place.

Perhaps I'm misinterpreting what you are saying, but "men outnumbering the women" would be considered a seller's market and not a buyer's market. A buyer's market means buyers have the advantage because the supply exceeds demand (i.e., a market which has more sellers than buyers). Men outnumbering women would mean that demand exceeds supply since men are the consumers.

I disagree. There are many variables that can come into play. That being said, it is not out of the realm of possibility that 100 girls and 6 guys in the Del Rey at 3:30 am may provide you with more negotiating power than 100 guys and 100 gals in the Del Ray, all other things being equal. It doesn't mean the market will act rationally, but it should mean that you have more options, which you may be able to parlay into more bang for your buck.
