Anyone know of any paintings of massage work? Not photographs, as that topic is in another post.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks.

Okay, I've been through this route, not easy. You put paintings, Massage through a search Engine and get prepared to dig through a slew of links.

Basically, if you can find some good books or articles on the History of Massage, you can find images that have sifted down from ancient Egypt and ancient China...Japan, Greece, India, etc...

It appears there aren't many readily found from Old World European and American artists. If they exist, they may be in private collections. Though there are contemporary artists who paint massage images for comercial use.  At least that's my general perception.  Maybe someone will come in to correct me about that?

Or maybe someone will research Massage Paintings for a book one day? *lol*

Really.  I paint and cartoon as a hobby and LOL I would be a prime candidate to write -- put together a book like you talked about.I agree with serendipity, or coincidences, as in Celestine Prophecy and other teachings and intuitions.The Murals are wonderful. I have not painted any murals as an artist yet, I paint mostly 18" X 24" , but I have ideas. Link is super.Your search suggestions are great. Art I can frame that are paintings of people being massaged is what I am looking for more so.But, other massage related art such as absolutely beautiful, dreamy scenes, are okay for recommendations too, like Gi's wall art--murals.Does anybody know of any very massage related art? Who?Links?Maybe, there are some in some massage magazines I haven't noticed?I will look again.I'm thinking I need to paint massage paintings myself and put them out there to the public along with some of the photographs I took in preparation for them.
