if you walk in to T.J bring a crappy little bike ,lock it up and pick it up before you leave. You will walk past all of those people waiting in line on foot. I walk past and smile. The bike doesnt even have to work. Or you can rent a bike before the peds crossing on the right hand side just past the people waiting for the bus to take people to washington ,oregon etc. Cost is usually 3 to 5 US. After you cross, you give the bike back to the man outside of the us boarder. All the bikes you rent have a orange sticker with a number so its easy for the guy outside to collect them. I have never rented a bike but followed a guy who rented one and he justed walked through like I have in the past with my own teenaged bike with a broken chain and crooked front rim.

From downtown San Diego, depending on time of day and traffic (Friday nights have very heavy traffic as a result of the L.A. and San Diego people crossing the border for the weekend), probably about 20 minutes.

I have to agree with the last post. It's a short walk but after dark a taxi is the ticket. During the day, there are a lot of people around and it is fairly safe. If you don't feel good about a certain street, walk in the street. That makes it harder for the muggers to get ahold of you and drag you in an alley. I felt completely safe at 1:00 in the afternoon. At 7:00 AM, is was a little quiet and kinda creepy. But once I got to the alley, there were a lot of girls and more were coming fast.

I was in cali for business last weekend so I decided to spend my last night in San Ysidrio before I headed back to Kansas the next day. I stayed at the Best Value Inn which is on the north side of town, it was clean but the bed sucked. The Americana Inn looked better from the outside, next time I'll stay there. It was around 2 PM on Sunday 3/13 when I checked in and then took a drive south on I-5 to the parking at the border. I crossed and decided to skip the cab, there were lots of people and I felt safe hoofing it to the alley. When I got there it was loaded with beautiful chicas, average chicas, and some ugly ones. They would grab your shirt as you walked by them and try to get you to a room. On my second pass, a young spinner said "suckee fuckee 5 dollars". I turned around and said OK. We went into a disgusting 5 dollar room, I gave her a 20 because that is the going price, and I fucked her good for 20 minutes and then left. What a bargain, except for the shithole room, this girl ( I can't remember her name, started with an F), was friendly, clean, and a lot of fun.

The next day I woke up at 6, got some breakfast, and then decided to hoof it back to the alley. It was slightly raining, the tourist area just inside the border was dead without any vendors yet, but I just kept heading for the Alley. When I got there I was surprised to find about 25 girls already lined up ready for action. I chose Rosey, a cute little 20 year old spinner, and took her upstairs for another good 20 minute fucking. No knock either day, must have been beginners luck. I was amazed at the quality of some of the street girls, I just wish I lived a little closer. But, I will be back.
