Hi There,
I have a friend who lives in Spain, her daugher lives in England who has MS.. her daughter is coming up 40 has 2 children. Over the last few months her daughter's MS has worsened and cannot stand up as long, and has started to use a wheel chair..
My friend loves Spain, moved to Spain because of ill health, and recently her daughter wanted her to go back home and help her.. it has now been decided mother will go back in school holidays to help her... but she is not sure if by going back for those few weeks, her daughter may become too dependent on her... although by nature her daughter is very independant, but illness is changing this.. she does also have a hubby who works long hours and my friend feels that he is not being supportive in the way, he will not allow my friends daughter to tell anyone what she has etc...
I feel for my friend that in some respects she is between a rock and a hard place.. although I try to give not advice but different ways to view the situation, having not experienced what she is experincing it is hard to find the right words, thoughts etc...
Now having explained I can about the situation over all, one suggestion I did make was that her daughter look towards complimentary therapies... look on internet for support groups etc...I am asking if there is anyone here, that has/had MS, looked to complimentary therapies and either helped, or healed. I have also looked up the metaphysical meaning of the dis-ease also for my friend..
Any info would be appreciated and if I can give some 'positive' feed back, I am sure it will help..
Are there also any food that can help, and any food that you should not eat etc..
Regards
