My girlfriend has a mac-book pro and she has been having a lot of trouble with it. It tends to freeze when playing video or web chatting and sometimes when starting up. Sometimes when the screen freezes, these white, black, and grey vertical lines go across the computer. I suggested updating adobe flash, but she had the most recent version. She also had her computer's hard drive recently wiped clean and the problem persists. We believed it could be the computer overheating so she got a fan for it, and it only slightly helps. She says she tries to leave it disconnected from the internet as well. Can anyone help?
