Hey Smackyo, that's a pretty easy answer why they don't get busted.... because I'm guessing they're run by Hell's Angles or some simalar type organization.

this might be the dumbest question asked so pardon my ignorance but:

if a place charges you for a room and you negotiate service beyond that it could be unlawful since you're not supposed to exchange sex for money but if a place says "all inclusive" it means you're paying more for a massage and if the girl "happens to like you then anything above and beyond is just stuff between two consenting adults". if this is a legit loophole, then isn't the solution obvious?

what an ignorant thing to say... just because i don't like a massage parlour i can't imagine wishing the owners, the staff or the clients that go there any harm. i don't go to amp's, but it makes me sick what they're all going through these last two months.

For those people who saw me in the two years when I was independant, they will remember I had an incall location a block from MC

I would always go grab something at choices and sometimes when I would go past Cleos I would see these poor clients getting out of their cars with their heads down looking all embarassed to be going into a place with a giant flashing stiletto on it and a mural of bikini clad lovelies in the front. Not the most discreet place but hey.....its a landmark by now! I like the old dude with the trophy-making store next door. I don't know HOW LONG that guy has been there but when I worked there for a BREIF two weeks before changing to the Touch, he was a cool cat and used to go out back to hang out with the girls. Rock on old Trophy making dude!!!! I dig ya!

I mean, the naked mermaid girly picture portrait thing is...um....TACKY! What's worse is if you are really a bad cleos girl (like crazy late or something)...you have to go outside and windex the crazy mural!!! Thank god it wasn't me who had to do it (I was the vacuum the treacherous stairs girl....damn fine job I did too)...I know they miss my vacuum skills ANYWAY back to the point!

I had my own "Cleos experience" and without going into any detail....I will say that BEFORE I ever worked at the Touch and BEFORE I worked independantly came my 2 week stint at cleos. We were instructed....and keep in mind we are talking like now 4 years agoish, to tell the gentlemen that "check out the website...we're moving in 3 monthes!!!"

Well, that three monthes has really stretched out! I know they are hell bent on staying downtown so just wait and see....but don't hold your breathe for a pack-em-up-and-move-em-out any time soon. That flashing stiletto ain't goin no place......

It's alleged to move on Granville, right in the heart of the nightclubs. It makes it less desirable for anyone trying to keep a low-profile. I also worked their for a short period. Good money, but an excessive set of guidelines that TotallyTouchin mentioned.

I'm not sure if it's true, but one girlfriend told me Cleo's is charging 'all-inclusive' rates at the moment, due to slow business.

hey pacman1, what i said there was not a wish that they do get busted. i wouldn't wish that on this scene unless they were using sex slave labor. what i meant was i wonder why all these good places continually get busted and lets be honest here, madame cleo's doesn't have the best rep on this board, and why madame cleo's goes as far as to take out radio adds and they never get busted?

its not my wish for them to get busted you see. i think they suck and i'm not alone in that sentiment but i wouldn't want to see them busted. i just don't like that the "working man" places with fair prices and more of an honest practice of the business extra's keep getting busted.

I would hazard a guess that some condo is going to be built there. Just some info I gathered from a building manager with ties to a few developers. Dunno about accuracy, but look around.....condos galore. As for slowing business, I'm not surprised. It's hard enough having an operation like that in a residential neighbourhood out in, say, Richmond. But imagine it being in a booming downtown residential neighbourhood where even at night time there is not the luxury of privacy afforded to visiting clients. Hmm...where to park my car and remain inconspicuous? If it is true MC is moving to Granville, I can sorta see the logic in that...MANY people (most of them oblivious to everything else in their inebrietated state!) and it's not so easy to get singled out as a client. Who knows. But I can tell you this....if I owned that piece of property and business was going downhill, and a slick developer comes a knocking with a killer offer, I'd sell the land and relocate in a heartbeat.

Whatever the case, good luck to the ladies and the business wherever they end up.
