Magic massager

At the bottom of page 7 in the Spring 2007 Massage Warehouse catalog is a product called "the magic massager".

Questions:
- Has anyone used this product or one like it? Thoughts?
- I've heard of gloves made for the same purpose. Anyone know where they're sold online?

I'm also wondering if its "special construction" is more than just layering four layers of polyester and sewing them together ;-)

I have the Magic Massager. It's a piece of satin-y material...actually, two pieces sewn together that slide against one another. I use it for chair massage only at this point. It does create the sensation of working with oil or lotion, even over clothes. It's especially good when someone comes in with a scratchy sweater or those hard woven fabrics on some guys' shirts. I have the one that's maybe 14 inches square (not positive about the size) but I kind of wish that it was longer. so it would cover the whole back. I find myself using it on the shoulder area most of all, then I tend to toss it off and do the rest of the massage without it.

I haven't used it during a table massage. I only have one; it would have to be washed each time if it's used on bare skin.
